Livelihood Aid

Halian Island is situated between Siargao Island and Dinagat Islands. It is a two hour boat ride, roughly 20 kilometers away from Del Carmen port. On the 24-hectare island, the population relies mostly on the fishing industry with approximately 100 boatmen living in the village. Due to typhoon Rai which made landfall last December 16, 2021, 90% of the boats in Halian were affected, leaving the island with an urgent need for assistance and aid.
